You might recall a post I wrote back in January on the value of attending conferences as part of your own personal and professional development. It was titled, in part, Rocky Mountain High, and it was a reflective post on my own conference experiences out in Denver that month, where I also gave a keynote address.
Lo and behold, in the audience that day, over six months ago, was Brian Gawor, an executive with Ruffalo Noel Levitz and their fundraising management division. In addition to his duties there, he is a thought-leader and frequent blogger, and he asked if I might join him in a conversation on the topic I spoke about in Denver, “relationships.”
I find myself talking to groups and leading workshops on that topic, “the relationship era,” more and more these days, and I was flattered by Brian’s wanting to explore it more too.
